The Promise by Nicola Davies

One of my all-time favorite picture books is from one of my all-time favorite authors:  Nicola Davies.  This book, The Promise, holds such an important message for all of us—especially now.  If you haven’t discovered Nicola’s extraordinary writing or if you are a fan like I am, you’ll love this video.  She has given permission to share it widely, so please do.  Seems like a perfect book for middle school writers.
